Curable Thermally Conductive Gel

Curable, high reliability, and high dispensable rate

Fill-CIP is a family of cure-in-place liquid thermal interface material and it includes two types: single and two parts. Fill-CIP 1XXX are single part, heat cure gel with good re-workability. It is ideal for rework and repair applications. It has low viscosity, good thixotropy and excellent surface wetting property. The material will form 3D flexible pad with proper tensile strength and elongation after curing, which allows the material to be peeled off completely without residue in rework process. Fill-CIP 2XXX are two-part, dispensable thermally conductive gel, which offer long-term reliability and high dispensable rate. Prior to curing, the material maintains good thixotropic characteristics and low viscosity to be easily dispensed. The product can be cured in short time after two-component mixing at room temperature and can be cured faster under higher temperature. The high compressibility minimizes thermal resistance at interfaces, while maintaining excellent performance in vertical or vibration applications.

FAQ

1.What are the main application scenarios for Curable Thermally Conductive Gel?

This Curable Thermally Conductive Gel offers low viscosity and strong shear-thinning for easy dispensing. Once cured, it delivers minimal compressive and residual stress, safeguarding delicate components and ensuring outstanding reliability even in harsh environments and under heavy vibration. Major application scenarios include:

Curable Thermally Conductive Gel for Automotive Electronics

Highly integrated and high-power automotive electronics frequently endure vibration and extreme thermal cycling.  Curable Thermally Conductive Gel fill micro-gaps to lower interfacial thermal resistance, and upon curing create a soft 3D elastomer with minimal compressive and residual stress – safeguarding delicate chips and solder joints from cracking. They also outperform conventional thermal greases by resisting pump-out and ensuring stable performance under harsh vibration.

Curable Thermally Conductive Gel for Telecommunication Base Station Equipment

With excellent interfacial wetting, this Curable Thermally Conductive Gel fills gaps completely to lower thermal resistance. Its high thixotropy prevents sagging after dispensing, and it absorbs vibration for reliable performance in harsh environments. It also resists high temperatures and chemicals without cracking or deformation over time – making it the ideal thermal management solution for telecom base stations.

Curable Thermally Conductive Gel for LED Lighting Applications

In LED lighting, this Curable Thermally Conductive Gel fills micro-gaps between chips and heat sinks to lower thermal resistance. After curing, its soft elastomer delivers low compressive and residual stress, protecting components and absorbing shock from temperature changes and vibration. It performs reliably across a wide temperature range with excellent aging resistance and electrical insulation. Its thixotropic design suits automated dispensing, making it ideal for automotive lighting, high-power LEDs, and outdoor displays where reliability is critical.

2.How should Curable Thermally Conductive Gel be properly stored to ensure quality?

To ensure that Curable Thermally Conductive Gel maintain stable thermal conductivity and workability within its shelf life, please follow the storage requirements below:

Environmental conditions
① Temperature: 0 °C to 35 °C
② Relative humidity: ≤ 65 % RH
③ Avoid direct sunlight, high temperature, high humidity, or corrosive gas environments.

Shelf life
6 months from the date of packaging. After the shelf life has expired, it is recommended to first verify the thermal performance before further use; only continue use if the product passes verification.

3.How should Curable Thermally Conductive Gel be packaged?

The packaging of Curable Thermally Conductive Gel shall comply with the following requirements:
